The Clearview Solution 400 was the first stove to be installed as a working display at Cheshire Design Centre over 10 years ago.
The original idea was just to use it to heat my office and then we decided to heat the whole showroom as it would create a pleasant and ecconomical heating solution. In those days we were a specialist bathroom distributor.
The Solution 400 has been demonstrated more than any other stove over the past 10-12 years and it still has the magic. You know it is doing the job when the onlooking customers’ faces light up. This is not only due to the large bright flames shining back through the the clear window but the excitement of witnessing one of the most loved British stoves doing what it does best!!
The Clearview Solution 400 has a similar size firebox to the Pioneer 400 and has the same viewing window. It is a fuel-efficient clean burning stove similar in design to the Pioneer 400P but with the added advantage of convection side panels
The option of stainless side panels gives a slightly more contemporary look.
The Clearview Pioneer 400P has the same performance as the Pioneer 400. It’s so fuel-efficient it can burn only one kilo of wood an hour, stay in over-night, boil a kettle and even heat your water, if the 8,000 BTU boiler is added.
This rugged and stylish stove is equally at home in a country cottage, modern apartment and even a mobile home or a boat.
The Clearview 650 Woodburning Stove is a 12kw wood burning stove which has the option of 3 different size boilers. There is a small boiler which can supply domestic hot water or there are two larger boilers that can run central heating when connected to a Thermal store.
The Clearview 650 has two double glazed doors which present a large view of the fire whilst not requiring an oversized hearth. The large firebox will take logs as large as 18″ in length but also has depth so large awkward shaped logs can also be used.
The first stove that I ever owned was a Clearview 750 Flat Top. It was in 1990 when I purchased it and nobody advised me about sizing the stove correctly or lining the chimney. How times have changed!
At Cheshire Design Centre possibly the first question we will ask is ‘how big is your room’. There is no point in purchasing a stove that is too large. It is better to run a stove hotter so that a secondary combustion can take place (this is burning the smoke before it escapes) and that gives a pleasing flame picture, and efficient burn and does not muck up your chimney or flue.

The Vision 500 has been one of the most popular stoves that we have sold over the last 10 years. Whilst most showrooms give you a selection of Black, Black or Black here at Cheshire Design Centre we display two different Browns, Green, Blue and Charcoal. Most customers come in asking for a black stove but we probably sell more Gold Fire Brown and Charcoal than any other colours. ‘Its funny what happens when you take the time to help a customer’
There are a range of leg options and log stores to go with the Vision but due to the fact that most of these stoves get installed into standard British builders chambers we tend to sell more of the 4″ legs. We find that the standard 2″ legs are less popular because it is difficult to get a brush under the stove to clean any bits off the hearth.
The Clearview Vision 500 Woodburning Stove was the first multi-fuel stove approved for burning wood and authorised fuel in UK smoke control areas.
The Vision 500 has a large single door for in order to have a clear view of the fire. Its firebox is large enough to take a 15″ logs. There is a multi-fuel grate and the flat top which can be used to boil a kettle or heat a pan.
It can heat domestic hot water if linked with a Thermal store if the 10,000 BTU boiler is added.
