What sort of door should I use on my En suite Bathroom
Eclisse Pocket Doors are sometimes known as disappearing sliding doors.
Frameless glass sliding doors -Eclisse Syntesis has no architrave for a minimalist look.
Internal sliding doors – Eclisse pocket door range uses top hung sliding door gear.
Why do we have doors and when do we use them.
Doors are a moving structure used to block off and allow access to a space.
An ensuite bathroom or shower room by its very nature is located in a private area, adjacent to a bedroom, and it is normal ?to have a door at the entrance of the bedroom. Often the door to ensuite bathroom is left open and therfore as with all open doors they are either in the way or taking up space. using a conventional door opening into the bathroom will limit the design options for the room.
The answer is to use a disappearing sliding door. These are now commonly known as ‘pocket doors’ and are becoming more widely used in bathrooms ensuite shower rooms and cloakrooms.
The Eclisse single pocket sliding door mechanism has a smooth action and is available in many sizes. The Eclisse pocket door mechanism is suitable for use with standard doors of thickness either 35mm or 44mm. For ensuite bathrooms an Eclisse pocket door mechanism ?with a frosted glass door allows light to flood through into the bedroom.
For a minimalist look, Eclisse offer the Syntesis range which offer the ‘hole in the wall look’. With the Syntesis there is no need for an architrave.
So if you are intersted in creating a new or refurbishing a bathroom or ensuite shower room then the Eclisse pocket door range is a good solution.
